Dutchyard's office is situated within Watertorenplein, a historic waterworks complex in Amsterdam's Westerpark neighbourhood, where the city's early 20th-century pumping station has been carefully transformed into one of Amsterdam's most characterful working addresses. There is an inherent gravitas to this setting, industrial heritage meeting contemporary purpose and it was precisely that quality the interior was built around.
Dutchyard is an investment firm with a long view, built on the belief that true wealth grows into a legacy that endures across generations. The space had to reflect that conviction, warm enough to welcome, refined enough to inspire confidence, and composed with the kind of care that only reveals itself over time.
We curated a selection of pieces from houses whose design legacy speaks for itself. Seating by B&B Italia, Ligne Roset, and COR brings warmth and sculptural presence to the meeting and lounge areas, complemented by a coffee table by ClassiCon. The Eames Lounge Chair by Vitra brings a sense of enduring craft to the space. A Knoll table and Mogg shelves add quiet structure throughout, and Flos provides lighting that is architectural in its intention, considered never incidental. The natural warmth of the Artisan chairs in wood offers a grounding contrast, softening the composition without diminishing it.
The result is an environment that does not need to announce itself. It simply holds with the same quiet authority that defines the firm it was designed for.
