GUFRAM Guframini Pratone

Guframini by Italian brand Gufram. Gufram’s iconic designs have become much smaller, introducing fans to miniature versions of their popular sculptures. The processes involved in creating Guframinis include creating precise molds that capture the original objects exactly to a 1:8 scale and creating each unique piece using injection molding of polyurethane foam. To achieve the same softness, colors, and detail as the originals, each Guframini is finished by hand using a state-of-the-art method.

Mini Pratone is based on the giant Pratone designed by Ceretti, Derossi and Rosso in 1972. It was shown at MoMA that same year as part of Italy: The New Domestic Landscape. Like the original, it has “Pratone” written on one side and 42 stems extending in different directions. This creates an iconic and radical look for a small sculpture.
