The collaboration between Gufram and Valerio Berruti is clearly visible in the Summertime sofa, which has a large and deep seating area that can accommodate up to three people. It is produced in limited quantities, as only 250 of these sofas were made, each one clearly bearing signs and markings of Valerio Berruti's painting. The sofa is named after the classic song by George Gershwin, which evokes an image of relaxation and lightness. The introductory text for Gufram and Valerio Berruti even serves as a subtitle for the piece with a pun on "living", referring both to life itself and specifically to sitting in a living room.
