Gubi Pacha Lounge Chair

Legendary French designer Pierre Paulin originally designed the Pacha Lounge Chair in 1975. Paulin designed the chair in harmony with the changing design style of the period, replacing the austerity of post-war design with a new, bold approach.

Paulin managed to give real elegance to the rounded shapes of the Pacha Lounge Chair by finding the perfect proportions, raising it slightly on its base and tracing it into the foam and upholstery with inward-facing stitching lines.

With pieces like the Pacha Lounge Chair, Pierre Paulin pioneered low-level living; a modern way of living and sitting on the floor, by eliminating chair legs. With comfort as the constant guiding principle in his designs, the curved, jagged and organic forms of the Pacha Chair are conceived to serve the body, providing both comfort and coziness.
