Retiro Bicolor FT473001 - Cream is a handmade carpet with tufting technique, in pure New Zealand wool, part of the Jardins Secrets collection by Pierre Frey.

The decorative motif takes shape from the Palacio de Cristal, located in the Retiro Park in Madrid. The architectural structure translates into a design defined by curved and geometric lines, made with wool rings that emerge on a base in cream shades. The interaction between form and matter creates a visual balance that recalls the regularity of the architectural design and the richness of the textile details. The surfaces have reliefs that evoke the precision of an embroidery, giving depth without excess.

The reference to the vegetable world is present but treated with a free, almost intuitive setting, which reflects the personal style and eclectic approach of the maison. Each carpet is the result of an entirely handmade work, made with selected natural fibers.
