Knoll Platner Lounge chair

The Platner Lounge Chair was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. The chair is made of welded steel rods, which create a moiré effect unique to the Platner Chair. The lounge chair has a rounded shell made of molded fiberglass and foam. The upholstery is available in various colors, in velvet or otherwise. The metal base is available in two versions: painted in a matte metallic bronze or plated in bright nickel. The base is also coated with a clear protective lacquer.

The Platner Lounge Chair is Greenguard certified. It is a comfortable chair with a soft, elegant look. It can be complemented with a matching table from the same Knoll series. The Platner collection also includes a chair, armchair, stool, and dining and coffee tables.
