Thonet B22 wall shelf

The Thonet B22 Wall Shelf is a design by Marcel Breuer from 1928. A few years later, the now famous Thonet catalogue appeared, consisting of insert cards with product descriptions. Among others, the tubular steel furniture by Breuer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Mart Stam made their breakthrough in this catalogue. All designs were examples of the then new living concept, and the B22 Wall Shelf was such an example. As a manufacturer, Thonet ensured that the furniture could be sold worldwide. Many of the designs are still in production and have become modern design icons.
