The Vitra Eames LCW lounge chair was designed by Charles & Ray Eames.

The LCW lounge chair belongs to the Plywood Group by Charles & Ray Eames. LCW stands for Lounge Chair Wood. Both the seat and the back as well as the base are made of ash plywood. The seat and back parts of the chair are connected to the plywood base by means of parts of rubber and metal (shock mounts).
