Designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin for Thonet, the 209 Armchair in lightened beech with a wicker seat is a contemporary reinterpretation of one of the most enduring forms in bentwood furniture. The curved armrests, handwoven wicker seat and characteristic lightness of the bent wood give the chair a refined, almost effortless presence.
