Flos Arco

Arco is a floor lamp designed in 1962 by Achille and Pier Castiglioni for the Italian brand Flos. The Castiglioni brothers took inspiration for the lamp from ordinary street lamps. The idea was to create a light source that is mobile and does not get in the way. Thanks to the arm, which is just under two and a half meters, a larger piece of furniture can fit underneath. Since its design, Arco has never been out of production and is now considered one of the most recognized design classics. It has also appeared as a prop for American blockbusters such as The Italian Job and the Bond classic Diamonds Are Forever.

The lampshade is made of chromed aluminium with a high-gloss polished stainless steel arm. The stable base is made of Carrara marble. Choose between a dimmable version of Arco with an integrated light source or a version without a dimmer, then with an E27 fitting without an associated light source.
