DCW éditions Aaro Wall Lamp

Aaro is an elegant collection of lamps designed by designer Simon Schmitz and produced by the famous brand DCW.

Aaro's starting point was a gesture, a movement. Simon Schmitz wanted to create a movement, as fluid as possible, that would immediately bring him to the sphere. With a sphere like a joint there are no limited directions, it has neither left nor right, nor top nor bottom. So with the sphere as an element, everything else "revolvered" around it. Geometry, balance, friction. The end result is an object that seems to be moved by the wind. It rotates effortlessly around its center, like planets orbiting each other.
