Ingo Maurer Zettel'z 5 Suspension Lamp Ø120cm
The Zettel'z 5 Suspension Lamp Ø120cm has been created by Ingo Maurer for the brand Ingo Maurer. The designer earned himself the nickname 'Poet of Light' with his unexampled creations. His wild imagination and fascination with technology led him to create lamps using everything and anything including tea strainers and incandescent bulbs with feathered wings attached to them.
For the Zettel'z 5 Suspension Lamp Ø120cm, he went with scribbled memos. The lamp is made up of a stainless steel frame that has a multitude of spikes pointing in different directions. A silicone slider holds them in place. Each one has a clip that holds a small sheet of thin, translucent Japanese paper that allows light to shine through it. 31 of them have been written on and there are 49 blank ones that can be scribbled on, extending the designer's creativity to the user. The papers can be clipped as sparsely or densely as desired to create different looks. The notes hide a light source that is concealed in a mesh cylinder.
The Zettel'z 5 Suspension Lamp Ø120cm has a height of 120cm and a diameter of 120cm. Its cable is 350cm long and its canopy has a diameter of 11cm. It uses an E27 socket.
