In the “Pure Materials” line by Thonet, the S 33 chair is available with a seat and backrest made of brown buffalo leather. The frame is constructed from chrome-plated steel. This chair was originally designed by Mart Stam around 1927 and was the first “cantilever chair” (Freischwinger). The model is also available in a version with armrests. Teflon floor glides can be ordered as an option.
