The Vitra Softshell chair with black base was designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.

This is the Softshell chair by Vitra. This multifunctional chair was designed by the Bouroullec brothers. The Softshell chair has a back shell with a flexible upper part. This contributes to excellent comfort. The seat and back shells are made of polyamide, reinforced with fibreglass. The inner lining of the seat and back is made of polyurethane foam. The seat shell has integrated armrests.

The base of the Sofshell chair is made of polyamide. The base is available in two colours, basic dark or chocolate brown.

The seat of the chair is available in three types of fabric:

• Plano
• Moss (NOTE: For home use only)
• Leather

The Plano fabric consists of 100% polyester, Moss consists of 85% wool and 15% polyamide.

The Softshell has a height of 81.5 centimeters, a depth of 56.2 centimeters and a width of 62 centimeters. The seat height of the chair is 44 centimeters and the seat depth is 47 centimeters. The backrest has a height of 36.5 centimeters and the armrests have a height of 21.5 centimeters.

The Vitra Softshell chairs are also available with a four-star base or as an office chair. This chair is supplied as standard with felt glides for hard floors. The chair can also be supplied with glides for carpet. We advise you to contact customer service.
