Classicon Corker No.3 side table

Warm, earthy, at the same time stable and flexible in use: The Corker is one of those universal talents that shine in every living space. Whether as an additional seat or as a side table, the Cork Stool, available in three sizes, not only plays with its own nature in its name, but also in its design: it was the contours of a bottle cork that served as inspiration for its creation. One could almost understand the Corker as a pop art object, as it refers directly to the object from our everyday culture through pure magnification.

The Corker emerged from the London Serpentine Gallery Pavilion of 2012. The design of the temporary summer pavilion was a collaboration between the architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron and the Chinese artist, designer and architect Ai Weiwei. The stool was part of the overall concept.

Sustainably produced and flexible in use. A design object that works in all living spaces.
