Knoll Barcelona sofa bed

Knoll's iconic Barcelona Daybed was designed in 1930 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. It shares the same elegant and stylish design as the popular Barcelona Chair, both crafted with exceptional craftsmanship. The daybed features a soft foam cushion covered in leather. The leather consists of 72 individual panels, hand-cut and finished from a single cowhide. You can choose from a variety of leather types. The cushion is attached to a solid, clear-lacquered wood frame with leather straps. The legs are made of chrome-plated and polished tubular steel.

Mies van der Rohe's "less is more" approach has inspired generations of modern architecture and design. His furniture is acclaimed worldwide, and Barcelona won the Museum of Modern Art Award in 1977.
