The Bertoia Side Chair by Knoll, designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952, has become an icon of modern design over the years. To celebrate Bertoia's centenary, the chair was released with a plastic seat, available in various colors. The seat is attached to a steel-link base. A cushion in a variety of colors is optionally available. The Bertoia Plastic Side Chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Bertoia was primarily known as a sculptor and designed only one furniture collection. Although he did not primarily work as an interior designer, his furniture was highly prized and is still sold worldwide today.
