Warm, grounding, simultaneously stable and flexible in use: The Corker is one of those universal talents that look good in any living area. Whether as an additional seating option or side table. The cork stool, available in three sizes, not only plays with its own nature in terms of its name but also in its design: It was the contours of a bottle cork that served as inspiration for its creation. Almost one could understand the Corker as a Pop Art object, so directly does it refer to the object taken from our everyday culture through pure enlargement.

The Corker originated in the London Serpentine Gallery Pavilion of 2012. The design of the temporary summer pavilion was a collaborative project that year between the architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron and the Chinese artist, designer, and architect Ai Weiwei. The stool was part of the overall concept.
