Moroso Tropicalia Cocoon Chair

Tropicalia Cocoon is a suspended chair with steel structure  and multicolor technopolymer wire strand designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso.

The steel tubular structure of the Antibodi project becomes the slider on which the designer, through a creative make-up, laughs on the frame, transforms it by taking on different personalities depending on the material used. The wire rope is similar to a pencil shot, it marks a surface that is both graphic and structural at the same time, it becomes a constructive gesture and an identity: playful with the plastic of twined or three-color cord, refined if monochromatic, elegant with the leather.
