VITRA Soft Pad Chair EA 217 (fabric)

The Soft Pad Chair EA 217 office chair was designed and developed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969 and is part of the exceptional Vitra collection. In terms of structure and shape, these chairs are similar to the Aluminium Chairs and belong to the same series, the Aluminium Group. However, with the Soft Pad Chair, the stitched fabric cushions beautifully contrast with the sleek aluminum frame. These chairs are softer and more luxurious than the ones in the Aluminium Group, yet retain the same clean lines. The design adapts to the body, providing extraordinary comfort.

The EA 217 features stitched cushions filled with polyurethane foam. The side profiles, cross profiles, and armrests are made from black powder-coated die-cast aluminum. The five-star base is equipped with soft wheels, specially designed for hard floors. This office chair comes with an adjustable back mechanism that can be locked in the forward position. Additionally, the seat height can be easily adjusted using a gas lift.

The chair is upholstered in Laser RE fabric, available in a variety of colors.

The office chair is 58 cm wide, 81.5-92.5 cm high, and 57-65 cm deep. The seat height is adjustable from 38.5 to 50 cm. Delivery time is 8-10 weeks.
