CLASSICON Bonaparte

Bonaparte is an upholstered chair designed by Eileen Gray in 1935 and produced by ClassiCon. The frame is made of chromed steel tubing bent in one piece, also available with a black powder coating. The armchair is upholstered in polyurethane foam and polyester fiber, the upholstery on the seat and backrest is partially tensioned, creating rounded shapes between the folds. Upholstery is available in different colors in leather or fabric.

Bonaparte is a modern and stylish chair that gives an airy impression despite its thick seat cushion and backrest. Elieen Gray herself liked the chair so much that she used it for decades as her desk chair in her Parisian home on the Rue Bonaparte. The inspiration for the name of the chair comes from this street.
